September Reflections

We have made it nearly 9-wks into school now, and about halfway through our football season. At this time of the year, the Rookie Royales start to see what it truly takes to be a Varsity Royale. They start to see that in order to put on the higher level of football routines and get ready the numerous performances in the fall, there is ALWAYS something to do in practice.
They start to see that a Two & Thru (with cardio especially) is something they can achieve and be proud of as an individual and a team. It's a great way for them to track their growth through the start of the year-- has that stamina increased, even a little bit-- the answer is almost always a resounding YES!
The Senior Royales really get to take off as the leadership of the team (titled or not.) They are fully writing their chapter of Royales and starting to impart their legacy on their junior teammates.
It might be a sometimes crazy time in Royale Land, and getting in the full swing as a rookie is NOT easy, but the team starts to realize-- together they can make it work! And like we say often in Royales "Royales are adaptable." What they thought wasn't do-able, they realize is. And most realize that planning a head will help them out in the long run!
We hope everyone sees that Royales is a place of growth, and a place of support. While we can't tutor Stats (but I sure wish I could!) we can help students communicate with their teachers and be a place that they can come and ask for help.
Royales is so much more than dancing, and we wouldn't want it any other way!
